Emersyn was born, raised, and still lives in the Midwest. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Minnesota State University. Her family consists of her husband, two sons, and their mini-Aussie, Bandit.

When she grows up, Emersyn wants to be a full-time writer.
